True Citrus Co. has signed a lease at 11501 Pocomoke Ct. in Middle River to join the Baltimore Crossroads business complex.
True Citrus, based in Rosedale, manufactures a variety of drink mixes and food spices using citrus flavors. The company plans to relocate its warehouse, distribution, and administrative offices to the new building and maintain distribution operations from its existing location in Rosedale.
The move will relocate more than 40 full- and part-time employees to the 30,000-square-foot Middle River space that is about six miles from the current location.
"This real estate satisfied every requirement in our search, including a location within close proximity to our existing operations," Albert J. Soricelli, Jr., CEO of True Citrus, said in a statement. "Baltimore Crossroads has numerous retail amenities for our employees and more on the way. It offers a modern and clean environment that offers a business advantage for the long-term operations of our growing company."
True Citrus has products in more than 35,000 stores, including Walmart, Kroger, Target, Safeway, Harris Teeter, Wegmans, and Food Lion, as well as at 25,000 food-service locations.
Baltimore Crossroads is a 1,000-acre mixed-use business complex with more than six million square feet of office, warehouse, and retail space. The space is managed by Chesapeake Real Estate Group. Urban Air Trampoline Park and Carpet Consultants already lease space in the building, and another roughly 20,000 square feet is currently available for lease in the building.
