EZShield has leased 12,485 square feet at the Crossroads @ 95 business park near White Marsh as part of a long-term growth strategy in Greater Baltimore. The Palo Alto, Calif.-based company, which specializes in identity protection, will move a satellite office from Forest Hill to 415 Williams Court.
The office primarily houses a call center and technology staff, said Angela Murphy, the company's senior vice president of human resources. The company plans to hire about three new employees this year and about six next year, she said. EZShield has openings for technology and marketing positions, she added.
"We are in a state of growth at this point," she said. "We do have a few open positions. We will probably expand at a little bit of a greater clip in 2013."
EZShield, which will move to Crossroads @ 95 in November, wanted access to a greater talent pool, Murphy said. "We believe this new address offers us a competitive advantage to attract top talent and will put us in a strong position for future growth," she said.
L. Alan Grace and J. Ketchum Secor of CBRE Group Inc. arranged the transaction between EZShield and landlord St. John Properties Inc.
