Royal Farms has become the latest business to open along Baltimore Crossroads @95.
The convenience store held a grand opening on Friday, which attracted business and community leaders, along with several elected officials.
The 5,786-square-foot Royal Farms joins such businesses as The Fitness Rave, United Cerebral Palsy, and FreeState Gun Range, along with The Arbors at Baltimore Crossroads luxury apartments, all located on the Route 43 extension that connects Middle River and White Marsh.
The Royal Farms is also part of the retail component of Baltimore Crossroads @95, a development of St. John Properties Inc. According to a St. John news release, the Royal Farms will serve the more than five million square feet of commercial office space planned for the 1,100-acre mixed-use business community.
St. John officials report that the retail component of the community will eventually include "120,000 square feet of retail space, several full-service hotels, and offices for more than 10,000 employees."
As part of the grand opening, Royal Farms donated $500 each to several local organizations, including the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Co., the Middle River Volunteer Fire Co., the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum, the Victory Villa Senior Center, and the Baltimore County Police and Explorer Scout Program.
